The mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L 941.1 movement in this A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia 206.032 watch is embellished with fausses cotes and cotes de Geneve. It's made up of 21 jewels, several of which are screwed gold chatons, 164 components, and a shock absorber device for added durability. In addition, it is equipped with a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjustable to five positions, and a self-compensating Nivarox flat balance spring, along with other characteristics. Among the many features of this device are the swan-neck micrometer regulator, the hand-engraved balance bridge, and the precision beat adjustment system with a whiplash spring.


The 1815 line is named after Ferdinand A. Lange, born in Glashütte in 1815 and was a pioneer in Germany's precision watchmaking industry.
